Discover Qatar Hotel Requirement Explained
Indian and Pakistani visa-on-arrival travelers must pre-book hotels through the official Discover Qatar portal. Bookings from other websites do not satisfy immigration requirements for the VoA route. If staying with family, apply Hayya visa instead and register host property on Hayya platform.
At Hamad Airport Immigration
Have printed return ticket, hotel confirmation, insurance policy, and passport ready. Immigration may ask proof of funds via credit card. Processing usually takes 20–45 minutes depending on flight arrival volume.
Extending Visa on Arrival
Before initial 30 days expire, apply extension through MOI online services for another 30 days if eligible. Overstay fines apply immediately after expiry—do not wait until airport departure to resolve.
